The Mall

We seek to put God first, to grow to be more like Jesus, and to share His love with those who do not yet know Him.

What we believe

The Mall is a congregation of just over 200 families. As a church, we seek to put God first, to grow to be more like Jesus, and to share His love with those who do not yet know Him.
The Bible is central to what we do. We believe that at the heart of the message of the Bible is that God has revealed Himself to us through His Son, Jesus.

The Bible teaches that we have forgiveness from our sin and new life in all its fullness because of Jesus’ perfect life, sacrificial death and glorious resurrection, which we receive by faith. Our core beliefs are expressed in the Westminster Confession of Faith, and the Larger and Shorter Catechisms.

Congregation

Our Sunday worship services use a broad range of praise items from the past and the present.

Pastoral visitation is an important aspect of our life. Our minister visits regularly across the congregation, and each family has an elder with responsibility for visiting within their local districts. A group of Pastoral Visitors have responsibility to visit more senior members of the congregation who are unable to be out and about.

Our church is governed by the Kirk Session, made up of elders along with the minister. The finances and all the church property belonging to the congregation are managed by the Church Committee.

The Mall is part of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland.
